Beach station is overground with two side platforms for boarding and alighting passengers, in an arrangement known as the Spanish solution; passengers board from one side of the train after all passengers have alighted on the other side, thereby optimizing commuter flow by separating boarding and alighting passengers. Half-height Platform screen doors are installed at the platform edge for the safety of commuters, and retrofitted High volume, low speed (HVLS) fans keep passengers cool.

Queue lines are set up on the platform to optimize the flow of commuters in and out of the station, while platform attendants assist with commuter inquiries. An escalator, staircase and lift connect the platforms to the concourse and station exits on the ground floor.

The additional new platform for alighting passengers opened in November 2023.

Every Sentosa Express station has a colour theme for easy recognition. The colour theme for Beach is Blue.
