There are also ComfortDelGro Engineering workshops in the premises.

SBS Transit’s bus division is commonly referred to as BRBP, and is a sub-depot of Ang Mo Kio Depot. The facility mainly functions as a bus park, but specialized maintenance can also be carried out there.

The depot was built in the late 1970s by the Singapore Bus Service (SBS) to support the expansion of its fleet, costing around S$9.7 million to build, and took over the previous Toa Payoh Bus Depot. The move was part of SBS’ efforts to resite bus depots away from residential areas to reduce noise pollution.

LTA should build a new depot for Bishan – Toa Payoh Bus Package while retaining BRBP (renamed as Toa Payoh Bus Park – TPBP)

Well The Bishan – Toa Payoh Bus Package should build a new depot called with at least 419 bus parking lots with a main bus depot called the Braddell Bus Depot (BRDEP) while the remaining 179 bus parking lots can be called Toa Payoh Bus Park (TPBP) in which both BRDEP and TPBP are interchangeable
