Go-Ahead Bus Service 119 is a residential trunk route from Punggol and looping at Hougang Street 21, passing through Sengkang East, Hougang Avenue 8 and Upper Serangoon Road. The service offers key inter-town links for residential areas along its route, connecting to transport nodes at Punggol, Sengkang and Kovan MRT Stations. It loops at Kovan Hub, the old Hougang South Bus Interchange.

In 2012, Service 119 was extended to Punggol (from Sengkang) and classified as the second bus service to be “introduced” under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP). Double-deck Volvo B9TL Wright buses were added, making the return of double-decker buses to 119, which were phased out long ago owing to lack of demand.

From February to April 2017, Go-Ahead’s BYD K9 electric bus was trialed on Service 119.

Am a frequent bus 119 passenger but there is this one Malay driver who is forever driving at such a slow speed and stopping every single bus-stop. Speed is even slower than a hearse (hate to make this comparison). I told him to be more considerate and instead he intentionally stayed at 1 bus stop even longer on purpose. Told him to alight me at that stop and guess what he did, he drove off the moment I alighted.
Can the mgmt pls educate your driver? Commuters take the ride not to experience this and we have aged parents, young children at home. We’re not onboard a bus for a ride down SG town pls!
He drove SG1054B towards Punggol at 10.36pm from Kovan

I want to complain about bus service no 119, which starts from Punggol Temp interchange. On the 17/1/22 at 2155hrs, it did not stop at bus stop(67411) while I was waiting for this particular bus from past 10mins. There was 109 at the busstop waiting for the passenger to alight. The driver of this 119, never even bothered to wait behind the bus, but just drove past behind 109. The next bus was in next 18mins for which I had to walk to the mrt station, to go back home.
When people like me after work, want to go home early, expecting to board the bus after waiting for it, and if such incidents happens, this is when we become outrageous.
So kindly inform this particular bus driver to do his job properly and not to trouble the public, this way.
