Bus route diversions and train service extensions for the 2013 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX
18 September – 23 September 2013
The 2013 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX returns to Singapore from 20 to 22 September 2013. Similar to past years, road closure will take place over six days, the largest series of road closures every year.
Route diversions:
Affected roads will be closed from 0001hrs, 18 September (Wednesday) to facilitate the set up of race infrastructure. When the race is completed, affected roads will reopen progressively and all roads will be fully accessible by 0530hrs, 24 September (Tuesday) onwards.

New services introduced during the F1 period:
During this F1 period, four special bus services to serve residents in the heartlands will be operated to complement the extended MRT hours charging a flat fare of $1.50 per ride. These are in addition to the Nite Owl services that operate on Friday and Saturday evenings.

- Service 36 spotted using Beach Road > Middle Road > North Bridge Road > Stamford Road. Possible diversion route change during off-peak hours when congestion at Middle Road is reduced
- Service 162M bus spotted using 111’s diversion route. Whether this applies to the entire service is unlikely.
