In Pictures – Lush Green Buses hit the roads!

Since Sunday, 29 May 2016, public buses painted in lush green – the winning colour for the Singapore Bus – have been running on the roads. Tower Transit is the first bus operator in Singapore to use the lush green livery, which was launched on the same day as its first day of operations.

A few of Tower Transit’s Volvo B9TL double-decker buses and Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses painted in lush green were seen on the roads on Sunday, 29 May 2016. Green Alexander Dennis Enviro500 buses subsequently appeared on the roads on Tuesday, which were transferred from SMRT Buses to Tower Transit. The buses bear the “SG♥Bus” and Tower Transit logo on the sides and rear.

3 lush green MAN A22 buses, SG1712K, SG1713T and SG1714R, also hit the roads on Monday under SMRT Buses. These buses did not bear any company logos initially, but have since been stickered with the “SG♥Bus” and SMRT logo.

@admin why A22 seem to be painted to a darker shade of green while the TT buses like painted to lime green?
