Route History

Service CW3S is a supplementary route connecting Taman Ungku Tun Aminah (TUTA), Sutera Mall and Bukit Indah within Johor to the Sultan Abu Bakar CIQ Complex (more commonly referred to as CIQ Second Link). The route complements its parent Service CW3 but does not cross the border to Singapore. Passengers can transfer to other cross-border bus services (Service CW3, CW4, CW4S, CW6) to Jurong East and Boon Lay. As a local bus route, buses will serve all en route bus stops along their route.

From Johor, the route also sells through-tickets to Singapore-bound passengers who will continue their journey at CIQ Second Link via other cross-border bus services. From Singapore, passengers from Singapore with valid tickets can transfer to this service at CIQ 2nd Link.

This bus service operates on Weekdays only (except Singapore Public Holidays), as it caters primarily to passengers commuting to and from Singapore. Carpark facilities are available at Terminal TUTA or Sutera Mall. The published runtime of this service is 50 minutes. On Weekends and Singapore PHs, SL1 operates the same route while additionally calling at AEON Bukit Indah.

Fare:

Charges section fares. ManjaLink Card payment is accepted on this bus service. Only Malaysian currency is accepted as the route does not enter Singapore; however, passengers boarding from Singapore (CW3/CW4/CW4S/CW6) will be charged Singapore currency for a ticket which can be used for a free transfer to this service at CIQ Second Link.

Miscellaneous Fare Information for Manjalink users

Manjalink users will be required to tap their card upon entering the bus, which includes re-boarding the bus at the various checkpoints.

As the ManjaLink card is loaded with values in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), passengers boarding from Singapore and paying fares in Singapore Dollars (SGD) will be charged based on the prevailing exchange rate determined by ManjaLink. For example, the published ManjaLink fare for JB-bound CW3 is S$4.00, and as such when ManjaLink is used, 4.00×3.08= 12.32, thereby deducting RM12.40 from the card, as the Manjalink system rounds up the fare to the nearest 10 cents.

The prevailing exchange rate for ManjaLink is regularly updated and can be found on their website.
