SBS Transit used to operate one trip during weekday mornings, using a double-decker bus.

Hi, I have a question regarding the use of premium buses. It seems like people only tap the card when getting on to the bus as it is fixed fare, but what if I had been tapping the card when I get off as well? Is that mean I had been charged doubled??

      Hi Tami,

You should be charged double fare when you tap in and tap out for Premium 569. Private operators usually use card readers that deducts a preset price upon each tap of an EZ-Link Card. (Refer to http://landtransportguru.net/busrws8/ for a picture of the one-time fare deduction equipment). As such, you should only tap in to pay the fare and need not tap out, as 569 is a flat fare service. For fare refund inquiry, you may wish to contact the operator, Aedge, directly at their official e-mail address at premiumbus@aedge.com.sg.
