Premium 541 served private estates and condominiums around Bayshore, Upper East Coast and Marine Parade with bus connections to Suntec City and Shenton Way, eliminating the hassle of transferring between different modes of transport. At the same time, SBS Transit’s Express 10e and 196e also offer peak hour connections between Upper East Coast / Marine Parade and Shenton Way at a cheaper price while plying a similar route. The steep fares cater to the niche market of passengers who wish to travel in greater comfort.

541 bus service is absolutely ridiculous, no sense of time, it’s not that you are charging regular bus price. It’s never ever on time (sometime does not even turn up) esp. Bayshore 830am or 9am slot. After finally missing my meeting couple of times I have decided to give up on 541. I advise all those to please do yourself a favour and take other premium bus service. There are many from bayshore area 531, 622, 10e etc much better and faster. Btw 541 Drivers don’t even bother acknowledge and just say talk to our management.

The frequency of this bus is ridiculous. Twice now that I waited half an hour opposite AIA tower for a bus when the frequency is every 15 mins from Anson Road, which is a stones throw. If you can’t mainrain the 15 mins frequency then just say so, we can take alternate transport and not waste our time waiting.

    Hi,
The 8.30am bus takes almost 1 hr to reach to one raffles quay.
One reason we take a premium bus is because it would lesser time to reach than the usual smrt bus.
Please try and keep in mind the reason for having a premium bus in service.

With the change of departure time in the morning from 7.00 AM to 7.10 AM, we lose everyday about 20 minutes in traffic. Before, leaving around 7.00 AM from Bayshore Road, we reached One Raffles Quay around 7.40 AM, with the new schedule, it’s more likely to reach their by 8.00 AM. A reason for me to consider using a motorbike instead which brings me to the office within 15 minutes and not much higher costs compared to the roughly 110 SGD I pay every month for the premium bus. Feedback on whether this can be changed back to the old schedule would be appreciated.

The 541 at mandarin gardens 07:42 service is consistently not arriving at all. What happened? I thought this was supposed to be a premium service? Now it takes me forever to get to work.

Bus 541 is hopeless, I was at the Anson Road Bustop and waited from 7pm, two 547 came, until 7.45pm still no sign of 541, it is either the bus driver speed pass the stop on the 2nd lane or they never came at all. I took bus 10 in the end.
