Additional Bus Stops Served for Bus Service 12e
27 January 2019
From Sunday, 27 January 2019, Go-Ahead Bus Service 12e will call at additional bus stops along Bedok South Avenue 1, Rochor Road and Ophir Road.
These bus stops were previously skipped by Service 12e when it was introduced in January 2018.

With the new stops, commuters can take advantage of connecting buses which expand the useful catchment area of Service 12e. Commuters from Upper East Coast can take Services 43, 55 or 853/# and transfer to Service 12e at the pair of bus stops outside Eastern Lagoon II.
In addition, commuters from other central regions of Singapore (like Novena, Bukit Timah or Little India) can connect to Service 12e via Services 48 or 57, transferring at Golden Landmark/Opp Duo Residences (eastbound) or Bugis Stn Exit D (westbound).

With these additional stops added, it can hardly be considered an express service considering the fares are considerably higher than that of its parent route. On a side note, i would like to report disatisfaction of service experienced on 16/1/19, 17/1/19 & 18/1/19. I arrived at the Aft Hosp Dr bus stop which is the first stop from Kampong Bahru Terminal at 0815hrs sharp on (Friday)18/1/19. The 12e bus only arrived at 0855hrs!!! Which means I waited 40 mintues! I checked the bus departure timings and it’s stated that for the hour of 0800hrs, the bus departure timings are 0810, 0830 & 0850. It would make sense that I had just missed the 0810 having reached the bust stop at 0815hrs bus but what happened to the 0830 bus?? Also on 16/1/19 & 17/1/19 the 12e bus from Pasir Ris int was also late to arrive at Simei bus stop in the hour of 1900hrs, but give or take 5 to 10 minutes which is still excusable. Please take this feedback into consideration as I think it is ridiculous to have to wait for 40 minutes for a bus!
Is this the first time an Express route is serving bus stops not served by its parent route???
12e will now stop at Ophir Rd(Pasir Ris) & Rochor Rd(Kampong Bahru)
