2 June 2020

SBS Transit Bus Service 128 will be withdrawn on Tuesday, 2 June 2020.

Due to the Singapore COVID-19 Circuit Breaker Measures, Bus Service 128 was already suspended for the duration of the Circuit Breaker period, starting 8 April 2020. As such, the last day of operations for Bus Service 128 was on Tuesday, 7 April 2020.

Commuters can travel by the North-South Line or take alternative Bus Service 162 instead.

Given how PTOs are already facing huge profit/revenue losses due to COVID-19, won’t be surprised if more unprofitable services with low-ridership will follow suit 128 and be merged/withdrawn in order to save on operating costs.

Service 115 is more to political issue,They have intentions to withdraw few years back but some residents find it essential so SBST/LTA just stick with it as it’s a basic short trunk afterall.115 might be extend to Buangkok ITH in future too.

Bus 115 is Low demand, why not withdraw bus 115? Like I said withdraw bus 991 if there is a bus 467 from Bukit Batok to Woodlands. And also 902 and 77 (bus 77 is insufficient demand, you say). Bus 75 is your choice. All is your choice after all

      902 is a sufficient amount.
