DESCRIPTION:From Sunday\, 30 September 2018\, SMRT Bus Service 991 will be extended to Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange via Bukit Gombak MRT Station\, Brickland Road\, Keat Hong Link and Choa Chu Kang Ave 1. \nWhen Service 991 was launched in July 2018\, the service looped at Bukit Batok West Avenue 5 from Bukit Batok Bus Interchange\, as part of Bukit Batok West Avenue 5 between the junction with Bukit Batok West Avenue 9 and Bukit Batok West Avenue 2 was still under construction. \nNew Short-Trip Service 991B will also be introduced from 30 September 2018\, operating from Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange and terminating at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 (Opp Choa Chu Kang Mkt) between 0018hrs and 0055hrs daily. \nA pair of bus stops along Brickland Road (Bus Stop 30109 – Opp Blk 485A & Bus Stop 30101 – Blk 485B) are slated as future bus stops. \nSMRT Buses MAN NL323F A22 (SG1713H) – Service 308\nWith the route extension of Service 991 to Choa Chu Kang incorporating part the SMRT Feeder Bus Service 308 route\, Service 308 between Choa Chu Kang and Keat Hong Link will be withdrawn. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, 30 September 2018\, several Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR Qingdao Sifang C151C trains will make their revenue service debut on the North South Line. \nAs the sixth generation of rolling stock on the North South & East West Lines\, 12 trains were purchased in September 2015 to add additional capacity on both lines. \nThe first C151C train will begin service from Ang Mo Kio Platform A\, North-Bound\, at slightly after 6:45am.
