DESCRIPTION:Shorter operating hours along the North East Line (NEL) between Serangoon and Punggol will take place on selected Fridays & Saturdays between 4 January 2019 – 2 March 2019 to facilitate additional engineering hours to accelerate maintenance works\, such as the replacement of rail crossing and track\, and renewing parts of the power and signalling systems. This will involve early closures along the NEL. \nAffected Train Stations\n\nNE12CC13 Serangoon\nNE13 Kovan\nNE14 Hougang\nNE15 Buangkok\nNE16STC Sengkang\nNE17PTC Punggol\n\nTrain services between Serangoon – Punggol on the North East Line will: \n\nEnd earlier at around 11.00pm on Friday\, 01 March 2019 & Saturday\, 02 March 2019\n\n\nFind out more (including affected train timings) at Early Closure of North East Line (January – March 2019) \nTrain Service will operate between NE1CC29 HarbourFront and NE12CC13 Serangoon at around 9-minute intervals during the periods of closure. \nA Shuttle Bus Service will be available: \n\nShuttle Bus Service 21: Serangoon—Punggol\n\nThere will also be extended operating hours for: \n\nSelected bus services from Hougang & Punggol\nTrain service on the North East Line (Southbound) from Serangoon to HarbourFront\nTrain service on Sengkang LRT and Punggol LRT\n\nMore Details: Early Closure of North East Line (January – March 2019) \nNorth East Line (NEL) Early Closure (January – March 2019)\n
