SUMMARY:Launch of New Supplementary Bus Service 179B
DESCRIPTION:From Monday\, 4 August 2025\, new SMRT Bus Service 179B will be launched. \nService 179B operates from Lien Ying Chow Drive (Hall 1) and terminates at Jurong West Street 63 (Pioneer Stn Exit B) during afternoon & evening peak hours within the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) School Term\, except public holidays. It skips all stops along Pioneer Road North for a faster journey from NTU to Pioneer MRT Station. \nService 179B will replace the afternoon and evening peak operations of Service 179A\, which terminates at Boon Lay Interchange and also skips all stops along Pioneer Road North and Jurong West Street 63.
