DESCRIPTION:5 new Bus Services will be launched on Monday\, 24 March 2025. They are: \n\nSMRT Bus Service 979X\nTower Transit Bus Service 861M\nTower Transit Bus Service 861B\nSBS Transit Bus Service 112B\nSBS Transit Bus Service 92B\n\n\nService 979X\nService 979X is a supplementary express service (“express feeder” service) under the Land Transport Authority Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP)\, operating from Bukit Panjang and looping at Choa Chu Kang Crescent\, via Yew Tee MRT Station. \nOperating only during weekday morning & evening peak hours (06:30 – 10:00 & 16:15 – 19:45)\, Service 979X provides a faster connection to between Bukit Panjang for residents in housing estates along Choa Chu Kang North 7 and Choa Chu Kang Crescent. \nDetails for this service were first announced online by Mr Alex Yam\, Member of Parliament representing the Yew Tee division of Marsiling–Yew Tee GRC\, in a Facebook Post on 27 Feb 2025. \n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				SMRT Buses Poster for New Supplementary Bus Service 979X\n				\n		\n\n\nService 861M\nService 861M is a supplementary bus service from Canberra Way (Blk 120A) to Sembawang Bus Interchange via Wellington Circle (Wellington Pr Sch)\, operating 2 trips during the morning peak hours (06:45 & 07:00) on School Term Weekdays (except Public Holidays). \nService 861M mainly caters to the students of Wellington Primary School living in the East Canberra housing estates. It offers students a direct ride from East Canberra to Wellington Primary School\, without having to transfer from Bus Services 883 or 861 to Bus Service 882 along Sembawang Road. \n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Tower Transit Poster for New Supplementary Bus Service 861M\n				\n		\n\n  \n\nService 861B\nService 861B is a Short Trip Service from Yishun Avenue 1 (Blk 430B) and ends at Canberra MRT Station during weekday morning peak hours \, excluding Public Holidays. \nIt supplements the high demand for Service 861 from housing estates in Yishun East to Canberra MRT Station during morning peak hours. \n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Tower Transit Poster for New Short Trip Service 861B\n				\n		\n\n\nService 112B\nService 112B is a Short Trip Service from Hougang Central Bus Interchange and ends at Hougang Avenue 7 (Opp Blk 321) during weekday evening peak hours (17:38 – 19:13)\, excluding Public Holidays. \nIt supplements the high demand for Service 112 from Hougang MRT Station & Hougang Central Bus Interchange to housing estates along Hougang Avenue 7 during the evening peak hours. \n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				SBS Transit Poster for New Short Trip Service 112B\n				\n		\n\n\nService 92B\nService 92B operates from Kent Ridge MRT Station and loops at Science Park Drive\, operating only during the weekday morning peak hours (07:50 – 09:11)\, excluding Public Holidays. \nIt route supplements the high demand for Service 92 from Kent Ridge MRT to industries at Science Park Drive\, as well as from Normanton Park to Kent Ridge MRT. \n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				SBS Transit Poster for New Short Trip Service 92B
