On 18 March 2022, the tender for Contract CR151 – Trains for Cross Island Line was published by the Land Transport Authority on the government procurement website GeBIZ.
These trains will serve the upcoming Cross Island Line (CRL), which is expected to commence passenger service in 2030.
Each CR151 Trains will be formed of 6 cars, and will be capable of expansion to 8 cars.

Alstom must win the contract for CR151 (Cross Island Line)
if govt wants to standardise train models, either bombardier or alstom
Bombardier already get acquired by Alstom since last year. So future fleets will be mostly Alstom. Have a gut feeling Alstom will eventually win this contract. Fingers crossed.
Hope is caf or siemens train models will shortlisted and win this cross island line on rolling stocks, looked futuristic.
R151 & CR151 are 2 different contracts idiots…

YES, I AGREE! Please no KSFs on CRL because I fear if it does, the interior of these trains will resemble those of CT251 on TEL or even worse, of C151Cs on NSL, so I don’t want this to happen!
