Bus route diversions for the Demolition of The Golden Bridge

To facilitate the demolition of the Golden Bridge near the UIC Building, a section of Shenton Way will be closed to traffic over the Chinese New Year weekend. The overhead bridge connects Shenton House with DBS Tower Two and SGX Centre, housing retail outlets. Replacing it will be a sheltered open-air walkway that connects two mixed-use developments, V on Shenton and OUE Downtown, slated to be completed by May 2017.
A total of twenty (20) bus services (excluding route variants) are affected due to road and bus stop closures. Affected bus services will ply alternative routes or skip bus stops along their existing route during the diversion period.
Diversion Information:
- All bus services approaching Shenton Way from Raffles Quay / Central Blvd diverted to Cross St, South Bridge Rd, Maxwell Rd, then resuming original routing along Shenton Way

Generally, alighting is allowed at any bus stop along the diversion route. However, boarding may be subject to bus drivers’ decision. Do remember to flag a bus early when attempting to board a bus along its diversion route.
