[Defunct] Causeway Link Bus Service 1B

Causeway Link Route 1B is a Johor Bahru local bus service operated by Handal Indah (Causeway Link), plying between JB Sentral and Bandar Selesa Jaya. Serving Danga Bay, Skudai and Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, 1B shares a similar routing with City Bus 15.

This service was replaced with myBAS T32 and is no longer operating.

Route History

Causeway Link 1B connects the Johor Bahru City Centre (JB Sentral) with the residential neighbourhoods of Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Taman Johor Bahru, Taman Timor and Taman Jaya Mas, terminating at Bandar Selesa Jaya. The route plied is duplicated by City Bus 15.

When Triton JB was merged with Causeway Link in 2011, its identical Route 502 was merged with 1B and retained the route number 1B. Buses can occasionally be seen with the old 502 destination plates.

1B commonly utilizes Mercedes-Benz CBC 1725, MAN 18.250 / SL252 and SKSbus SA12-300 buses.
