Marina South MRT Station (TE21) is an underground station located along the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) 3. It is built underneath Central Boulevard and Marina Boulevard, bringing rail connectivity to future developments in the Marina South area.

The areas around the station are planned to be developed into a mixed-use, high-density commercial and residential district that provides more options for city living. It is also located in close proximity to NS28 Marina South Pier station.

The future Marina South Bus Interchange will also be built in close proximity to Marina South station.

Thomson-East Coast Line 3 was originally targeted for completion and opening in Year 2021. However, it was delayed till 2022 as mentioned in the SMRT Operations Review 2020.

In November 2021, the Land Transport Authority was quoted in an article on The Straits Times in which they mentioned that Marina South station will open only when housing developments around them are ready.
