Mount Pleasant MRT Station (TE10) is an underground station located along the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) 3. It is built underneath the Old Police Academy which was cleared to make way for the station, bringing rail connectivity to future residential developments in the area.

While there are no surface developments, the Mount Pleasant area is expected to fill up with housing developments in the future.

Thomson-East Coast Line 3 was targeted for completion and opening in Year 2021. However, it was delayed till 2022 as mentioned in the SMRT Operations Review 2020. The station remains closed as of the opening of TEL 3 on 13 Nov 2022.

In November 2021, a joint news release on a New Public Housing Estate at Site of Former Police Academy in the Mount Pleasant Area by HDB, URA & SLA stated that the Mount Pleasant Thomson-East Coast Line station will open in tandem with the completion of public housing developments in the area. Six BTO housing projects will be built in the area, with the first one to be launched in 2025.
