Oasis LRT Station (PE6) is a light rail station along the Punggol LRT (PGLRT)’s East Loop. Located within the Punggol New Town, the station is overground and built along Punggol Drive, between the junctions of Edgedale Plains and Edgefield Plains. The station serves Punggol Polyclinic in Oasis Terraces.

The station gets its name from Oasis Residents’ Committee.

Oasis station is overground with an island platform serving LRT services in both directions of the East Loop. Inner and Outer loop services run counter-clockwise and clockwise around the loop respectively.

Concourse

The station concourse is located at Level 2. The concourse leads to an overhead bridge that spans across Punggol Drive, with lifts and stairs connecting to street level. The overhead bridge also connects directly to Oasis Terraces, which opened on 24 November 2017.

LRT Bus Bridging Service

In the event of a LRT service disruption affecting Oasis station, LRT Bridging Buses may be activated to ply affected stretches of the Punggol LRT. In which case, the buses can be boarded from the following locations:

There are no bridging services for East Loop Inner. In addition, passengers can board free regular bus services at Bus Stops 65311 & 65319 when activated.


History

Oasis station opened on 15 June 2007. The station remained closed ever since train services along the Punggol LRT East Loop first began on 29 January 2005, owing to limited developments in the area.

    Hi,
    I have feedback and spoke to the staff several times that the Oasis LRT lifts at both end closes very fast as soon as the passengers got before we could go in. Please adjust the door timer as this is extremely dangerous especially for wheel chair, elderly and pregnant passengers and those who are on clutches. Thank you
