Tampines Integrated Transport Hub

A new Integrated Transport Hub (ITH) is planned for Tampines Central and will be built in the future. It is currently in the planning stage.

Draft Master Plan 2025

In October 2024, plans for the Upcoming Developments for Our Business Nodes as part of the Draft Master Plan 2025 were released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. In these plans, local business nodes such as Tampines will be refreshed and progressively built up, with plans to introduce new mixed-use developments, public spaces and improve pedestrian connectivity.

This includes new mixed-use developments with residences, commercial spaces and an integrated transport hub, as well as implementing sheltered, seamless pedestrian connectivity for workers, visitors and residents, including enhancing pedestrian connectivity to the MRT stations and future public transport nodes.

Firstly build a new temporary interchange close to the current Tampines Concourse Interchange. Then vacate and demolish the current Tampines Interchange and build the new ITH at the same location. May have to relocate the CPF building also.

Use google maps to visualize what i’m saying.

The temporary bus interchange will most likely be Tampines Concourse Int but with its passenger concourse and parking bay expanded from the south of the interchange.
