The Tengah Line (tentative name) is a future rapid transit line currently under feasibility studies.
Committee of Supply Debate 2025
As part of the Ministry of Transport’s Committee of Supply (COS) Debate 2025, it was revealed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) that feasibility studies for a new line, tentatively called the Tengah Line, was currently ongoing.
In addition, LTA has also preliminarily assessed that the Tengah Line and another potential rail line (tentatively called the Seletar Line), could meet at the Greater Southern Waterfront. Feasibility studies will also consider the possibility of linking both lines into a single line.

Possible areas identified by LTA that the Tengah Line could serve include:
- Tengah
- Bukit Batok
- Queensway
- Bukit Merah
Timeline & History
- 2025 (Mar): Proposed new rail line (tentatively named Tengah Line) announced during the COS 2025 Debate. The line is still undergoing feasibility studies, with an expected completion timeline in the 2040s.
