The Volvo B10M is a popular mid-engined bus chassis built by Volvo between 1978 and 2001, as the successor of the B58 and was equipped with a 9.6-litre horizontally-mounted Volvo THD100/THD101/THD102/THD103/THD104/DH10A diesel engine. An articulated version of the chassis was also produced, the Volvo B10MA.
Singapore Bus Services (now SBS Transit) has been a major operator of the Volvo B10M chassis. From 1986 to 2001, over 900 units were introduced on the roads, with many variants in chassis and bodywork:
