81 and 82 best is to transfer to Serangoon-Eunos package and 22 to Seletar.I hope there is a feeder for Woodleigh too.
There will not be feeders in Woodleigh. Political boundaries do not allow it
Have it loop around Woodleigh only.148 can use red white plate if extended at Rochor canal Rd.
Stop this OCD manner. You should know very well by now the blue ribbon does not intend to create long distance routes anymore. If extend 148, cause confusion for Potong Pasir resident because of red white plate. Also, cannot touch the PIE junction, or else 148 frequency will become horrible, like the comment below said. 148 will jam in Boon Keng because of high traffic.
Really bus enthusiast, only think of bus bus bus anyhow want to amend just because they like
This is why bus enthusiasts can’t think logically and are only excited about buses based on their favour. Nothing will make sense to them unless they get hard when it’s based on their preference, and not because it’s something the public will benefit.
When the Bidadari Pk Dr – Bartley Rd junction is complete, I hope 148 gets amended to ply Bartley MRT and Mount Vernon Rd.
There isn’t a need for Bus 148, Bus 142 can be extended to Woodleigh Int as I think every Int should have at least 1 sc that is not a loop svc and should end at another bus int/ter
Read the older comments please. There is a very obvious reason why LTA rejected 142 extension (YES, they DID think about it)
So far SBST hasn’t leased any buses from storage yet.If they do pls lease those SG173x series Euro V A22.
Should have enough SWDEP Citaro/Euro V Scanias to cover 148(those kicked out by the EV buses), not really any need for SBST to lease them unless the EV bus deployment is taking a long time or not enough buses. This may depend on whether LTA may consider giving the other Euro IV Scanias lifespan extention or not.
Just today, 6841B, 6842Z, 6843X & 6844T have been transferred from SWDEP to HGDEP
Already internally confirmed long ago that 148 runs full Citaro fleet
I got a feeling SBST will leased those last 4 B3 A22 from storage and its 15% cheaper to lease than the Euro 6 A22.
He already say 148 run a full Citaro fleet. I agree as I also got info about the transfer and theres no other reason why only 4 Citaros will randomly transfer if its not for a new route
What you don’t understand about internally confirm?
Routes extension to Woodleigh Interchange – just my suggestions:
82 from PUNGGOL to Woodleigh via Upper Serangoon Road, Upper Aljunied Road and Bidadari Park Drive.
Return via Serangoon Central enroute to Punggol Int.
11 from Lor 1 Geylang via Kallang Bahru, Geylang Bahru, Bendemeer Road, Serangoon and Upper Serangoon Road, Upp Aljunied Rd and Bidadari Park Dr.
82 is internally confirmed, but it goes through Serangoon Avenue 1, not Upper Aljunied road.
That’s good!
Also I have another suggestion- extend route 115 from Kovan terminal to Woodleigh via Upper Serangoon Road, Upp Aljunied Road and Bidadari Park Drive.
Return via Bidadari Park Drive, Upper Aljunied Road, Upper Serangoon Road, Hougang Street 11 and continue its journey to Hougang Ave 3.
