182. This bus service is notoriously known about bus captains in Jurong West package, for clearly requiring one more bus service to complement, but because of political reasons (because Tuas South no Singaporean live there, only foreign workers live there), the authorities actually reluctant to launch additional bus service to serve Tuas South.
Well, 182A is a very big move, although it only runs on Sunday night. Most probably just to ensure that the foreign workers can return to their dormitories on time, so that they can report punctually for work on Monday morning.
Considering Tuas South, like every industrial area, is only packed at certain periods of the day, I don’t foresee this new service 182A will have any additional trip beyond Sunday night.
