Should start at Choa Chu Kang Interchange then loop at Teck Whye Crescent… yet another stupid messy route of 2024…
– WLTransit100 (YT)
No point starting at CCK int bah. Most students would rather take 190, 975 and 985 from CCK MRT and walk to their schools which is much faster than taking 983M from CCK int.
Can sense that gov is very prudent with launching new routes in the last few yrs esp aft covid. Contrary to BSEP days.
Exactly, I get they’re trying to repeat 181M as both serve schools in the morning peak hour but this is just dumb, why is 983M purely terminating at Teck Whye Crescent when it can be extended to loop at Teck Whye LRT via Teck Whye Avenue, CCK Road and CCK Way and return back to CCK Avenue 5. Seems like wasted potential tbh.
I do see why 983M prob wouldn’t start at CCK interchange as it already parallels 300 and its parent route along CCK Avenue 4 and serves BPGHS and Concord Primary, which would lead to crowding
Might as well be called 983B
Is by smart right u put sbs
could extend to Choa Chu Kang Int and loop at Teck Whye area
Should be a loop route between Choa Chu Kang Interchange and Teck Whye Cres (Loop). Useless route
