The Terminal:
Changi Village Bus Terminal is a bus terminal located at Changi Village, just off Changi Village Road. It serves as a looping and terminating point for bus routes serving the Changi Village area.
Opened around the Year 1975, the terminal has a single vehicular concourse area, with a combined vehicle ingress and egress lane leading to Changi Village Road. The terminal has a sheltered bus platform that functions as both a boarding and alighting point, and a bus park in the middle of the terminal for the layover of buses. The large number of parking spaces at the terminal reflects the greater number of bus services which used to call at this terminal before Changi Airfreight Centre opened.
Passenger boarding and alighting activity is conducted at a single bus stop outside Block 3, after which buses terminating buses proceed to the parking area, and fresh trip buses exit the terminus. Bus Service 29, which loops at the terminal, calls at the bus stop once.
Amenities in the area include a foodcourt and market, Village Hotel Changi, and Changi Point Ferry Terminal which provides ferry service to Pulau Ubin and Malaysia. Within walking distance is Changi Point Waterfront Park, Changi Point Promenade, Changi Beach Park and Club CSC @ Changi.
Historical Background:
Changi Village has a long history dating back to pre-independence days when the area was a seaside village located at the end of Upper Changi Road. A roadside bus terminal known as Changi Point Bus Terminal existed since the 1950s.
The Changi Village area was redeveloped along with the construction of Changi Airport, and the HDB also built low-rise apartment blocks and a food centre in the area. Changi Village Bus Terminal was built on the former site of Changi Cinema in 1975, and by 1983, it was a full-fledged bus terminal.

Another geographic failure by the authority.Same case like Lor 1 Geylang.Go-Ahead should be the anchor operator of this terminal.Serangoon-Eunos should be the anchor operator of Lor 1.
I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t make sense for GA to anchor a terminal where it only controls 1 out of 4 svcs
Service 22 should extend from eunos interchange to Changi Village terminal will be better for more for the residents can get to the area Jalan eunos, to Changi Village area
It’s co-operated by SBST & GAS..At first GAS refuse but they changed their mind because of service 2 starting from here.
If LTA has any plans to upgrade the area of Changi Village, here is what I think should happen to the terminal:
1. Replace the current single bus stop with an alighting berth and two boarding berths (B1: 2, 109, B2: 29, 59)
2. Two new bus services under the Loyang Bus Package will be added to enhance connectivity to Changi Village / Two bus services will be extended to Changi Village from either Pasir Ris or Tampines. They will then occupy the vacant spaces at Berth B1 and B2.
3. New/Unique amenities and facilities in Changi Village. This will make it so that travelling to Changi Village is worthwhile and the resources and planning put in this area will not go to waste.
The most only can do with two alighting berths and 2 boarding berths..LTA can amend 403 to start here.No other new service is possible as it will face parking crunch
Need proper alighting berth,Can construct two new boarding berths
