Choa Chu Kang West MRT Station (JS2) is an elevated station located along the Jurong Region Line (JRL) Phase 1. It is built along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3, near the junction with Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1, bringing rail connectivity to schools, residential developments and community amenities in the area.
The station is in the vicinity of schools such as Choa Chu Kang Primary School, Concord Primary School and Bukit Panjang Government High School; community amenities such as Sunshine Place, Victory Family Centre and Bethany Methodist Nursing Home; and residential developments around Choa Chu Kang Avenues 2, 3, 4 and 5.
The station is targeted for completion and opening in Year 2027.
The opening was announced to be delayed by about one year in a Written Reply by Minister for Transport Ong Ye Kung to Parliamentary Question on Prioritising Early Completion of Jurong Region MRT Line on 1 Feb 2021, with COVID-19 cited as a reason.

Choa Chu Kang West station has two platforms in an island platform arrangement.
The station platforms are built to four-car length to cater for future expansion, although trains will only operate in a three-car formation.

Construction Trivia
Choa Chu Kang West Station will be constructed as part of Contract J102 – Design & Construction of Choa Chu Kang (CCK) Station, CCK West Station, Tengah Station & Viaduct including A&A Works to Existing CCK Station for JRL, which was awarded to Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co (Singapore) Pte Ltd at a contract value of ~$465.2 million in September 2019.
