The DBS Christmas Shuttle Bus is a free shuttle bus service arranged for the benefit of DBS / POSB cardmembers, serving the various shopping areas around Orchard Road (Tangs, Robinsons, Plaza Singapura, Park Mall, 313@Somerset and Wisma Atria) during the festive Christmas shopping period.

The shuttle service will only run for 10 days, starting from Saturday, 13 December 2014 to Monday, 22 December 2014. It will operate from 11am in the morning to 10pm in the evening, at a frequency of about 20 minutes.

Although the official DBS Bank’s Facebook page stated that passengers of the shuttle service are required to flash their receipt of any purchase using their DBS or POSB credit/debit/NETS card, by our observations, passengers are allowed to board by just flashing their DBS/POSB card.

As a corporate charter by DBS Bank, the buses deployed would be wrapped with full-body promotional advertising. Promoters are stationed at bus stops and onboard the buses.

Fare: Free and exclusive to POSB / DBS Cardmembers.

Fleet: The shuttle service is run by 2 Scania K230UBs (SBS8054T & SBS8090M) with the DBS Bank Christmas Shuttle Service advertisement.

Other events where SBS Transit buses were used for corporate charter include the Jwel Ice Cream Bus (SBS8048L) and the Affordable Art Fair shuttle service.
