Bus Service Diversion for Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2019 – Marathon & Half-Marathon

SCSM 2017: Buses lining up to drop off passengers at Orchard

Diversion Summary:

  • Keppel Road (Eastbound) closure—affected buses (10, 30, 57, 80, 97, 100, 131, 145, NR1, NR6) diverting to Kg Bahru Rd
  • Nicoll Highway (City-bound) closed—affected buses (10, 14, 16, 70M, 196) diverting to Kallang Rd and North Bridge Rd
  • CBD area roads closed—all bus services diverted to Eu Tong Sen St / South Bridge Rd corridor.
  • Access to Raffles Blvd from Bras Basah Rd closed—buses looping/terminating at Marina Ctr to loop at North Bridge Rd
  • Ophir Rd closed after Beach Rd—ECP-plying services diverted

Special mention:

  • Service 10, 30 (eastbound): Divert to Kg Bahru Rd > Lower Delta Rd > Eu Tong Sen St, Hill St, Victoria St > Middle Rd > Nicoll Highway
  • Service 12e, 36, 48, 518 (eastbound): Divert to Nicoll Highway > KPE (518) or Mountbatten Rd (12e, 36, 48)
  • Service 75: Shortened to Outram Park MRT
  • Service 97: Looping at Marina Bay Stn (1pm to 2pm); Shortened to Harbourfront Int (2pm onwards)
  • Service 400: Continues to operate between Shenton Way and Marina Bay Cruise Centre (via MCE)
  • Service 401: Skips all East Coast Park Service Rd (eastbound) stops—express from Fort Rd to Marine Parade
  • Service 502: Last stop at Bras Basah Rd (Bencoolen Stn Exit B) before express sector

Night buses:

  • SMRT NightRider NR2, NR5 & NR8, SBS Transit Nite Owl 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N & 6N will commence service at North Bridge Rd – (04167) City Hall Stn Exit B.
  • SMRT NightRider NR1 and NR6 will proceed straight from HarbourFront to Clarke Quay (via diversion route)
