I’m on the shuttle service from Serangoon to Punggol as I leave this comment. I was reminded of the early closure while I was on the NEL earlier and had to alight at Serangoon with the rest of the commuters. I thought the entire transit from Serangoon station to boarding of the shuttle was executed well by LTA and relevant staffs. There were plenty of directional signages and proactive ushering staff to help move the crowd move along. There was a good number of shuttle buses deployed for the weekend peak crowd and no need for commuters to be packed in the buses like sardines. There were also staff deployed at all shuttle bus stations to facilitate the event.
Thumbs up to the relevant departments in charge.
