December 7 - December 9

A series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East-West Line to the East Coast Integrated Depot in preparation for its opening in 2026 will take place from Saturday 7 December 2024 to Tuesday 10 December 2024.

As a result, there will be no train service on the East West Line between Tanah Merah and Tampines.

Shuttle train services will be operated as well.

In an update at 8pm on 9 December 2024, LTA posted on their Facebook Page that normal EWL train service will resume on Tuesday 10 December 2024, one day earlier than planned.

EW2–DT32 Tampines – EW4CG Tanah Merah
Shuttle Train Services will operate between:
EW1 Pasir Ris – EW2–DT32 Tampines (5 min frequency)
EW4CG Tanah Merah – CG1DT35 Expo (8 min frequency)
CG1DT35 Expo – CG2 Changi Airport (11 min frequency)

A Shuttle Bus Service will be available from Saturday, 7 December 2024 to (Monday, 9 December 2024). Shuttle 7 will not operate on Tuesday 10 December 2024 as EWL train service has resumed one day earlier than planned.
