Public Transport Operators in Singapore are ushering in the spirit of Kindness Day SG, which takes place on 24 May this year. Public buses of SBS Transit, Go-Ahead Singapore and Tower Transit have been programmed to display messages of goodwill.
Selected SBS Transit buses display “Be Kind, Be Greater.” These can be found on some Scania K230UB and Volvo B9TL buses with Hanover EDS.
Go-Ahead Singapore buses display two messages, “Happy Kindness Day 24 May 2019” and “Greatness is Kindness, Be Greater” decorated with the iconic gerbera flower.
These messages can be found across all bus services on Volvo B9TL, Mercedes-Benz Citaro and MAN A95 buses.
Tower Transit buses feature a 20 different kindness day messages. Each bus service is programmed to display a different message on Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses, while Alexander Dennis Enviro500 and MAN A22 buses with Mobitec EDS display 4 different messages.

Kindness Day Activities
1000 stalks of yellow daisies will be given out at 5 different bus interchanges on 24th May between 11:30am and 2:30pm. These are:
- Hougang Bus Interchange and MRT Station (NEL)
- Tampines Bus Interchange and MRT Station (DTL)
- Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange
- Bedok Bus Interchange
- Boon Lay Bus Interchange
Kindness Carnival will also be held on Saturday, 25th May 2019, 10am-6:3pm at the Road Safety Community Park @ East Coast.
