The Marine Parade Cluster Shuttle Bus was launched on 30 June 2024.

The network features 7 shuttle bus services serving districts under the purview of Marine Parade Town Council, namely Geylang Serai, Marine Parade, Kembangan-Chai Chee, Braddell Heights, Joo Chiat, Mountbatten & MacPherson.

The 7 shuttle bus services (MPC1 – MPC7) will start on Monday 8 July 2024, operating on Weekdays (except Public Holidays) during off-peak hours from 10am to 4pm at a frequency of about 1 hour. The bus services are offered free for Marine Parade cluster residents.

App Download

To ride the free shuttle bus service, commuters have to download the TongTar Riders App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

After downloading the app, a barcode from the profile page have to be scanned during boarding and alighting.

Residents may also register for a physical card to tap on the card reader when boarding or alighting at the following community centres / clubs:

    What do you mean by “jokes”? You mean the shuttle service named as “WeCare” but in actual reality they dont really care? Please explain yourself, your comment is very ambiguous. Thanks.

    Jokes aside. This resembles a similar initiative that the Johor residents have at Johor, whereby tap the card can get free ride. The “ Bas Muafakat Johor Bus Service”.
