SBS Transit Bus Service 21‘s route will be amended from Sunday, 24 April 2016. It will serve two new bus stops along Jalan Tenteram, and skip one bus stop along Jalan Bahagia.
The route amendment will serve a new Build-to-Order residential development, Tenteram Peak. Comprising 4 blocks and 755 units, it is expected to receive its Temporary Occupation Permit later this year in December. The new bus stops along Jalan Tenteram also serve Whampoa Heights Estate, St. Michael’s Estate Flatted Factories and Jalan Ma’mor Estate.
The two new bus stops that Bus Service 21 will call at are:
- 52049: Blk 19, Jalan Tenteram
- 52119: Opp Blk 65, Jalan Tenteram
Commuters from bus stops along Jalan Tenteram should check the displayed Bus Destination as well as the color of the destination plate displayed at the front of the bus as both directions of Bus Service 21 will call at the same bus stops.
RED plated Bus Service 21 buses will head towards at Pasir Ris, via Novena, Eunos, Bedok Reservoir and Tampines.
WHITE plated Bus Service 21 buses will terminate at St. Michael’s Terminal.
The following bus stop will be skipped as a result of the route amendment:
- 52109: Between Blks 33/34, Jalan Bahagia
Commuters from the affected bus stop who used to rely on Bus Service 21 to Novena MRT Station may take Bus Service 131 to Novena MRT Station as well.
