Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 amongst bus captains and interchange staff at various bus interchanges, Public Transport Operators face a shortage of available manpower to operate bus services. As such, several bus services will be suspended from Wednesday, 15 September 2021.

Please help and ensure this is just a temporary suspension for 12e. It’s a great bus to town from east and commuters can easily shorten their trips to west by changing to DTL or EW line. And to all the bus drivers, please take good care and thank you for bringing us point to point!
Good thing no Sembawang package routes were affected. If not the handover from SMB to TT won’t be peaceful at all. Hope no drivers in Woodlands or Sembawang interchanges fall sick.
Yeah. Its time. I doubt any suspension from SMRT side as most of its service aint affected for the past 2 weeks.
For SBST, I know it getting worse. Eg. 179/179A. From 3-5 mins frequency had been lengthen to 9 mins (for 179) and 2-3 buses aka 20 mins (for 179A). This occurred about 2 weeks ago and still continue for now.
my BC friend drives 174. 174 is affected as well
Some are affected in SMRT side. eg. 911 – normally 4 – 13 mins (now 8-17 mins)
913 – normally 2 – 11 mins (now 6-17 mins)
For TTS also.
856 – 5 – 13 mins (SMRT Buses) (now 8-20 mins under TTS)
A lot of bus services in SMRT and TTS aren’t affected by the shortage of bus drivers getting Covid-19 as they continue to swab test their bus captains ever since.
