Tuas MRT Depot is an at-grade train depot serving the East West Line (EWL).

The depot is built at Tuas West, covering an area of 260,000 square metres, and bordered by Tuas West Road, Tuas West Drive and the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). It contains a maintenance facility and stabling areas, and is accessed from Tuas West Road. It opened in 2016 along with completion of the Tuas West Extension of the East West Line, from Gul Crescent to Tuas Link.

Situated just after Tuas Link station, there are a total of 2 reception tracks: both heading eastbound towards Tuas Link station.

Contract C1685 for the construction of Tuas Depot was awarded to Jurong Primewide Pte Ltd at a contract sum of S$237.1 million.

Bus Interchange:

Tuas Bus Terminal occupies a portion of the roof slab of the depot building, which is accessible via vehicular ramps connecting to Tuas West Drive. This method of construction was chosen as a space-saving measure. In addition, an additional vehicle ramp to Tuas Link 4 was built as part of future provisions, should there be future development on the roof.

Rolling stock:

Tuas Depot maintained C151B trains operating along the East West Line’s Tuas West Extension for testing purposes prior to passenger service back in 2016 up to mid 2017.

Currently, on top of the C151B trains, the depot maintains the C151, C151A and R151 trains.
