Train services between EW21CC22 Buona Vista and EW24NS1 Jurong East on the East West Line (EWL) will fully resume on Tuesday, 1 October 2024 after being disrupted for 5 days from the morning of Wednesday, 25 September 2024.
For the safety of commuters, westbound trains between Dover and Clementi stations will run at a lower speed of 40km/hr from 1 – 3 October 2024, as part of SMRT’s standard operating procedure following extensive works on the running rails.
SMRT advises commuters who are travelling to the west on the EWL to plan for an additional five minutes of travel time.
