Bishan Integrated Transport Hub

Bishan Integrated Transport Hub (ITH) is an upcoming bus interchange located near the existing Bishan Bus Interchange, Bishan MRT Station and Bishan Town Centre. It will be part of the Bishan Sub-Regional Centre.

Plans

The air-conditioned bus interchange may be integrated with a hawker centre. Plans for Bishan ITH were first mentioned to the media by National Development Minister Mr Chee Hong Tat at the sidelines of the PA Family PLAYGround event held at Toa Payoh West Community Club on 21 June 2025.

At the launch of the Draft Master Plan 2025 on 25 June 2025, Bishan ITH was mentioned to be part of the revamped Bishan Town Centre.

Location

Based on the renders, the ITH is likely to be bounded by Bishan Place and Bishan Street 15, next to Exit D of the Bishan Circle Line station.

What about Bukit Batok Integrated Transport Hub?
What about Bukit Merah Integrated Transport Hub? (Not related to Tiong Bahru Integrated Transport Hub)

Bukit Merah cannot be called integrated transport hub when there’s no MRT there.. Unless they plan to have full underground beside Redhill MRT. Bukit Batok I think has potential or worse case just do like WITH with only passenger concourse is air-conditioned.

One of the few remaining “historical, old” interchanges left in singapore. Hopefully new int has more parking lots since currently the current one has very little, i always noticed buses during peak hours having to queue and wait for a lot to park. Also hopefully theres enough space and lots there to maybe introduce 1 or 2 new services?

The problem with LTA they always think that 2 lots for 1 svc is adequate when in reality there is not… 2 lots is for those express svc, 403,400,167… Svc like 61,854 need 3 lots not to mention some feeder svc with amount of fleets.

Nice. Hope they expand with more lots and more berths. Currently Bishan Int is at max capacity, don’t want them to make the same mistake again and again and provision an Int that is too small right from the start.

Actually can just reroute 53 55 58 59 to Woodleigh and introduce one trunk from Woodleigh to Bishan to cover the deleted sectors.. In a way Bishan can introduce 1 more feeders

LTA should have plan and develop long time ago.
Heard it will have 3 alighting berth and 5 boarding berths and plans for 35 parking lots.

From the artist impression, it looks like Buangkok Interchange, where it is all end-on berths.
