Braddell Bus Park is located within the headquarters of SBS Transit’s parent company, ComfortDelGro, and its subsidiaries. There are also vehicle workshops operated by ComfortDelGro Engineering in the premises.
SBS Transit’s bus division in the premises (Braddell Bus Park) is commonly referred to as BRBP, and was a sub-depot of Ang Mo Kio Bus Depot. The facility mainly functions as a bus park, but specialized maintenance can also be carried out there. With the closure of Ang Mo Kio Bus Depot in January 2025, the bus park became a sub-depot for Hougang Bus Depot.
The depot was built in the late 1970s by the Singapore Bus Service (SBS) to support the expansion of its fleet, costing around S$9.7 million to build, and took over the previous Toa Payoh Bus Depot. The move was part of SBS’ efforts to resite bus depots away from residential areas to reduce noise pollution.
Closure
In a news article published on 15 June 2025, Lianhe Zaobao reported that ComfortDelGro’s Headquarters will be vacating its premises at 205 Braddell Road, with the relocation process set to begin in October 2025. For SBS Transit, office staff will be moved to the Sengkang MRT Depot and the Sengkang West Bus Depot. Buses currently housed at Braddell Bus Park will be transferred to the Hougang Bus Depot.

Back to Bus Depots and Bus Parks

What a pity CD want to demolish this bus park, CD should move somewhere in the central region and LTA should enhanced this bus park into proper multi-storey depot with 450 lots including 250 EV chargers for Bishan-Toa Payoh package.
After Ang Mo Kio demolished,Braddell will intake Saint Michael service,142 & Toa Payoh feeders.Rest of East bound Bishan-Toa Payoh service will park at Hougang Depot until a replacement depot is announced.
LTA should build a new depot for Bishan – Toa Payoh Bus Package while retaining BRBP (renamed as Toa Payoh Bus Park – TPBP)
Well The Bishan – Toa Payoh Bus Package should build a new depot called with at least 419 bus parking lots with a main bus depot called the Braddell Bus Depot (BRDEP) while the remaining 179 bus parking lots can be called Toa Payoh Bus Park (TPBP) in which both BRDEP and TPBP are interchangeable
I guess Bradell Bus park would cease in the future also?
Comfort delgro recently published a tender for the demolition of their headquarters.
Hmm yeah,Most probably will shift somewhere and they cannot shift to LTA build depots also.
I wish SBS and LTA will build two depots for Bishan – Toa Payoh Bus Package.
Bishan Bus Depot (BIDEP) and Toa Payoh Bus Park (TPBP)
Hopefully can be refurbished to a proper bus depot with at least 450 parking lots,All comfort operation can shift to Ang Mo Kio
Actually can just built a multi storey beside Bishan MRT depot but again the roads is not that feasible considering the traffic there.
SBST should just make all St Michael’s and TPY feeder plus 142 park BR.Those dual control TPY svc like 8,28,28,157 should also park here while the rest including Bishan svc Park HG.
