Brickland Station is an above-ground station along the North South Line (NSL), to be constructed from 2024. It will be located above Bukit Batok West Avenue 5, to the south of the junction with Brickland Road and Bukit Batok Road.

Both Brickland and Sungei Kadut stations were announced on 25 May 2019 as part of the LTA’s Land Transport Master Plan 2040. These stations are infill stations along the NSL targeted for completion before 2040. Previously, Dover and Canberra stations were built as infill stations along the EWL and NSL, opening in 2001 and 2019 respectively.

Additional details for Brickland station was announced by the Land Transport Authority in July 2023. It is projected to open in 2034.

Construction

Construction for Brickland station is expected to commence in 2024. A new viaduct and crossover tracks will also be constructed in addition to Brickland station.

Brickland station will be constructed under Contract 115 – Design and Construction of NS3A Station and Viaduct on the Existing North-South Line.

    Actually, if it’s going to be so costly and complicated, and yet very limited economic effectiveness, they should just cancel this project.

    Hmm, it is built on the Gombak side instead of the Keat Hong side where it was originally planned?
