Premium Bus Services typically ply between major residential estates and key industrial/ commercial nodes such as the Central Business District (CBD) or Industrial/ Business Parks during peak hours.
Designed to ease the rush-hour crowd, Premium Bus Services charge a premium fare but offer a more direct connection as compared to existing public transport options. Premium Bus Services are operated by private bus operators based on commercial considerations.
Fares for Premium services are typically priced around 3 to 6 dollars, making them more expensive than public buses and trains, but more affordable compared to taxis or private hire vehicles. Passengers are also guaranteed a seat onboard the bus.
All Premium bus services are operated by private bus companies, except LCS1 & LCS2 which is operated by Public Transport Operator SBS Transit.

Hi, premium bus is required for people going to work from pasir ris, tampines to yio chu kang road (ang mo kio). There are offices like ST Electronics, Motorola, Apple, NCS and many more. Would appreciate if you can arrange for some premium buses. Otherwise our travel time during peak hours is 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours. Thank you.
You can take 969 or 39 to Lentor Ave then change bus to 854 or 857 as an alternative to taking the MRT.
LTA/PTC should consider that – with SBS Transit Premium services being made wheelchair-accessible, why are private bus operators reverting this move by taking over operations? LTA should consider having more wheelchair bus models for these private bus operators.
