Premium Bus Services

Premium Bus Services typically ply between major residential estates and key industrial/ commercial nodes such as the Central Business District (CBD) or Industrial/ Business Parks during peak hours.

Designed to ease the rush-hour crowd, Premium Bus Services charge a premium fare but offer a more direct connection as compared to existing public transport options. Premium Bus Services are operated by private bus operators based on commercial considerations.

Fares for Premium services are typically priced around 3 to 6 dollars, making them more expensive than public buses and trains, but more affordable compared to taxis or private hire vehicles. Passengers are also guaranteed a seat onboard the bus.

All Premium bus services are operated by private bus companies, except LCS1 & LCS2 which is operated by Public Transport Operator SBS Transit.

547 service is always late, specially with one oarticular driver. It makes no sense to wait for a bus for 10 plus mins when that time can be saved by taking normal service instantly.

We should hv more direct buses from AMK Av 10 to Raffles Quay/Shenton Way, but avoid Orchard area away from the heavy traffic area to shorten the travelling time and also to increase the frequency as riders are increasing by the day.
