I usually take bus service 116 to work and for the first time this morning, I see bus service 116A arrived at the bus-stop (@ Blk 530 Serangoon North Ave 4) as I was crossing the road. That was at 8.12am on 22 Aug 2019.
I was stuck at the road divider as the traffic was busy. There was also another guy at the road divider waiting for the traffic to clear to catch the bus 116A, just like me.
Although all passengers at the bus stop have already boarded the bus 116A, the bus captain upon noticing our anxiousness, waited at the bus stop for us to cross over to board the bus.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the bus captain of SBS5229B. Thank you for allowing my day to start smoothly.
I never knew the difference between service 116 and 116A. So I searched online and found the route and timing of this short trip service. Thank you for having this additional bus service to ease the bus congestion for the residents in my area.
