Bus Service 459 enhances connectivity for commuters travelling between Punggol and Tai Seng MRT Stations during weekday peak hours. Within Punggol, the service calls at stops along Punggol Central.
The service plies express between Punggol Central and Tai Seng MRT, via Pasir Ris Industrial Dr 1, Halus Link, KPE, and Airport Rd.
This limited-stop service is introduced under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP). Bus Services 457, 458, and 459 are the first tranche of peak-period limited-stop services to serve the Tai Seng Industrial Area, connecting it with housing estates in the Northeast.
Travel Smart Journeys
This bus service is part of the latest Travel Smart Journeys – North-East Line Scheme, starting at launch (27 Apr 2026). This scheme incentivises North-East commuters to switch from the North East Line (NEL) to alternative bus routes, to ease congestion.
Registered commuters on the SimplyGo app can earn cashback in the form of e-transport vouchers by boarding & alighting at designated stops during Morning Peak hours.

Watch 459 start at Punggol Station and then just go down Punggol Central to Lor Halus and KPE lol. 457 and 458 seem to also just take the shortest way out of town, I doubt we’re going to see any nice feeder-esque service to northshore
i believe after the 43A introduction the 459 will most likely go Punggol east and northshore area then go to tai seng mrt.

how come it is not stated 459 will be under which bus company? go ahead or sbs transit or smrt or tower transit?
Definitely GAS. Not stated is because unlike the other 2, it hasnt been officially revealed yet. 457 and 458 was also displayed the same when their page was created before the announcement.
hopefully 459 gets to stop at 2 pair of bus stops along Punggol North Ave
