Interior Photos (Pre-Revenue Service)
As observed prior to revenue service, the BYD C6 featured 20 interior seats. The aisle seat nearest to the entrance/exit door was later removed prior to revenue service, and the seating capacity of the bus is thus 19.
Private BYD C6 Buses in Singapore
Two other BYD C6 buses entered service in 2018, with Singapore-based private bus operators.
Major Incidents
On 6 June 2021, SMRT technician Thin Soon Fatt, 43, was killed while his co-worker Tan Kaek Seng, 44, was injured whilst performing maintenance work on a BYD C6 Bus (understood to be PC8561P) in a workshop at SMRT’s Ang Mo Kio bus depot.
According to an alert issued by the Workplace Safety and Health Council, the technicians were working under a bus which was raised using two car jacks. The bus fell on the workers when one of the jacks collapsed.

Look at the interior photos of this bus, look at the emergency exit one. You will see the Volvo B8L in the background!!
SMRT should deploy this type of buses on Feeder Services during off peak hours in Yishun & Woodlands
when there are not many passengers instead of using double decker buses
I recommend SDs to be placed there, unless the frequency (of the people) is less than 19 per bus (this includes peak hours).
