MRT Early Closure: Tanah Merah – Pasir Ris (13 – 14 Dec)

Shorter operating hours along the East West Line (EWL) between Tanah Merah and Pasir Ris will take place on selected Fridays & Saturdays in December 2019 to facilitate additional engineering hours for installation of 22kV power cables as part of power supply system renewal works.

This will involve early closures along the EWL

Affected Train Stations

• EW1 Pasir Ris
• EW2DT32 Tampines
• EW3 Simei
• EW4CG Tanah Merah

Train services between Tanah Merah – Pasir Ris on the East West Line will:

• End earlier at around 11.00pm on Friday, 13 December 2019 & Saturday, 14 December 2019

Train Service will only operate between EW4CG Tanah Merah – EW33 Tuas Link and EW4CG Tanah Merah – CG2 Changi Airport during the periods of closure.

Extended Bus Operating Hours

During of Early Closure, the last buses for residential bus services will be extended to allow commuters to connect from the Shuttle Bus Services.
