Express 5: Boon Lay—Buona Vista Shuttle Bus Service

The Boon Lay—Outram Park Express Shuttle Bus Service was a Rail Replacement Service plying between Boon Lay and Outram Park, serving major transport nodes along the East West Line (EWL).

The route will be activated to operate on selected Saturdays and Sundays in December 2017, when shortened operating hours are implemented across sections of the NSL and EWL to facilitate more time for track maintenance and renewal work. The express shuttle bus service, which connects with the first Eastbound and Westbound train at Outram Park will provide commuters faster connectivity between Boon Lay and Outram Park

The bus only operated 2 trips in each direction in the morning, at 5:00am and 5:15am from Boon Lay, as well as 6:10am and 6:25am from Outram Park.

The Shuttle Bus Service served the following MRT Stations:
