Causeway Link 5B connects the Johor Bahru City Centre (JB Sentral) with the town of Taman Universiti, passing through Danga Bay, Tampoi and Skudai. The route is identical to Trans Iskandar BET3 which Causeway Link also operates, and buses can occasionally be seen carrying two sets of route destination plates. It is also complemented by City Bus 331, which plies the same routing.
When Triton JB was merged with Causeway Link in 2011, its identical route 503 was merged with 5B, and retained the route number 5B.
This service was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed operation on 1 July 2022
Fleet:
5B commonly utilizes Mercedes-Benz CBC 1725, SKSbus SA12-300 and Yutong ZK6118HGA buses.
