The route links many residential neighbourhoods around the Senai area with Econsave Senai and the transport node of Medan Selera Senai where passengers can transfer for other bus services along the Malaysia Federal Route 1. Parts of its catchment area were absorbed from the withdrawn Iskandar Malaysia Bus Service IM26.
The Bas Muafakat Johor services are a joint initiative by the State Government of Johor, Johor Public Transport Corporation (PAJ) and various City Councils in Johor Bahru (MBJB), Johor Bahru Tengah (MBJPT), Kulai (MPKu) and Pasir Gudang (MPPG). The group of bus services operating within Kulai carry the ‘P4’ service prefix.
